Intersecting Forces

An idiom describing force(s) that meet.

Comments:

Intersecting Forces is a general term and only has the requirement of Intersection - there is no implied purpose or intent.

Intersecting Forces can equally refer to an accidental occurrence or a purposeful one.

Intersecting Forces differs from Colliding Forces in that Intersecting Forces can be either cooperative or opposing, and Colliding Forces tends to refer to forces that are in opposition in some way. Although, technically speaking, this may just be a matter of intent. But often the terms are used interchangeably.

Intersecting Forces differs from Converging Forces in that Intersecting Forces adds the requirement of Intersection, and Converging Forces tends to refer more toward forces that are combined and may never Intersect, although that is not a requirement. But often the terms are used interchangeably.

Intersecting Forces differs from Confluence of Forces in that the forces are a confluence in both cases, but Intersecting Forces adds the requirement of Intersection. Also, Confluence of Forces tends to more commonly refer to the combining of forces working together for a common goal and may never intersect.

Intersecting Forces differs from Intercepting Forces in that the forces are a confluence in both cases, but Intercepting Forces adds the requirement of interception. Also, Intersecting Forces tends to more commonly refer to the opposing forces rather than cooperative forces.
