Whip

An idiom describing a specific Method of Execution which utilizes sudden, abrupt, expeditious motion that creates a succinct and brief Angle of Incidence at the Point of Contact with equally rapid Returning Motion.

Whips are most commonly done with the finger tips, as opposed to other Natural Weapons.

 

Whips tend to be circular but can also be linear.

 

Whips require at least a Surface Contact range of depth.

 

Whipping moves almost always have the intent to be minor moves.

 

Whipping moves rely heavily on the torque generated by reversing the direction of the weapon at the Point of Contact.

 

Whipping moves can derive as much power from the return motion as they do from power transferred by the weapon entry.

 

Whips differ from snaps in that whips tend to have the intent to have more Surface Contact rather than Contact Penetration and are more intentionally abrupt in nature.

 

Whips differ from thrusts in that snaps, by definition, must have returning motion.

Whips tend to reduce Prolonged Exposure of weapons.

 

The Postural Position of both you and your opponent have a large influence over the available paths an intended weapon can travel.
