Any check that is creating by applying pressure against an opposing surface causing it to move to a new location. |

this term refers to only one main characteristic of the overall checking maneuver. Because of this, the same checking maneuver can potentially be referred to in different ways or through a combination of characteristics.
A Nudging Check is very non-specific and can refer to repositioning of an extremity all the way up to the entire body.
