Contact Penetration refers to the category of the range of contact where effective penetration into the intended target can be made.
Contact Penetration can only occur when the intended weapon(s) is/are Within Contact of the opponent.
Contact Penetration can easily be thought of as the range where an effective punch occurs.
Punches, kicks, elbows, etc. are most commonly thought of when referring to Contact Penetration.
Contact Penetration is almost always used in context with offensive maneuvers.
Contact Penetration is typically used to generate more damage to the intended target.
