Open the Gate

An idiom describing the positioning of the body such that the Dimensional Zones are exposed - for the purpose of increasing Target Availability to the opponent(s).

Comments:

Opening the Gate refers to the (re)positioning of the body for the expressed purpose of exposing targets.  Usually, this refers to some form of Body Maneuver, but does not expressly exclude the repositioning of the arms and legs along with the body.

Opening the Gate can be used as a tactic to deceive the opponent into a false confidence.

Open the Gate differs from Open the Line, in that Open the Gate typically refers to repositioning of the body.
