Line of Sight is closely related to the term Traveling Eye in that one uses a version of Traveling Eye to determine whether there is a Line of Sight to a target.

 

Line of Sight is related to the saying: "Don't get in your own way" - which basically means, always try to keep Line of Sight for as many weapons as possible. This is also commonly referred to as the "Hide Rule".

 

Line of Sight is directly related to Economy of Motion in that Line of Sight provides for the shortest distance from weapon to target.
