Burdening Check

 

Any check that is creating by utilizing body weight to apply pressure against the checking surface.

 

Comments:

 

this term refers to only one main characteristic of the overall checking maneuver. Because of this, the same checking maneuver can potentially be referred to in different ways or through a combination of characteristics.

 

Since the term is generic in nature nearly any type of check may be used to create a Bracing Check.
