this term refers to only one main characteristic of the overall checking maneuver. Because of this, the same checking maneuver can potentially be referred to in different ways or through a combination of characteristics.
Twirling Checks are most commonly created through the enacting of a twirl foot maneuver using the entire body, but this is not a requirement.
Twirling Check differs from Roving Check, in that the Rolling Check has a requirement of using rotation as the means of travel and Roving Check is non-specific on its method of travel.
Technically speaking this is a method of contouring.
