Align is a generic term which can refer to the mind, the body, or any group of Environmental Objects.
Alignment does not always refer to the body and/or weapon(s) being in a straight line as one might assume - but rather to whatever arrangement that is appropriate to maximizing results of the intended purpose.
As pertaining to stances: Alignments are used to establish the proper dimensions of a stance.
