The typical ways of forfeiting or nullifying an Angle of Delivery on yourself are: getting in your own way (creating an Angle of Cancellation) against yourself not keeping your weapons aimed at the available targets (losing Positional Aim)
A quick way to check for proper Angle of Delivery of your weapons is to ask yourself: "Are all my available weapons aimed in the general direction of where the opponent's targetsare?" "Am I hindering my ability to get directly to my opponent's targets, with any part(s) of my body?"
A simplistic and general way of looking at any situation is to - always maximize your Angle of Delivery and minimize your opponent's Angle of Delivery - usually through an Angle of Cancellation or Angle of Disturbance.
See the saying "Never be the cause of your own block". |
