Means of Aggression

An paradigm illustrating a way of describing both intent and timing of (potential) contact of a specfic attack.

Comments:

The Method of Attack paradigm has two (2) major components:

Intent (e.g. Minor vs Major)

Timing (e.g. In-flight vs Applied)

The general idea of the paradigm is to understand and properly classify a degree of urgency for any potentially offensive maneuver based upon immediately perceivable attributes about that maneuver. This is done through inferring intent combined with determinable immediacy (e.g. sustained current contact vs potential future contact).

This paradigm is similar to, but distinctly different from, the Degree of Attack paradigm.
