Since Method of Execution describes key characteristics, it is possible that a single maneuver could be classified into a combination of Methods of Execution simultaneously. This is very similar to the classification paradigm of checks.
Technically speaking, all Methods of Execution are either Linear or Circular in nature. Linear maneuvers follow a direct route, where circular maneuvers are more diverse and have a variety of descriptive ways to refer to their Path of Travel (see below). Regardless, each maneuver typically is executed on a precise Angle of Entry, creating a specific Angle of Contact (typically an Angle of Incidence).
Methods of Execution for surface strikes include: Glancing Ricocheting Shoveling (with foot)
Methods of Execution for penetrating strikes include Lifting (vertical) Looping (horizontal) Scooping (vertical) |
