An idiom describing having sustained contact with an Environmental Object for any particular purpose.

Comments:


This term is most commonly used in reference to grabs, hugs, holds, locks, chokes, checks. etc.; or any maneuver that uses contact for application. This can be in an offensive or defensive context.

 

Applied refers to a move after it has made contact with its intended target; whether for its primary or for a secondary purpose.

 

This term is closely associated with terms intent (minor / major) to classify an offensive or defensive maneuver more precisely.
