This term is another name for Return Motion, which correctly implies that it encompasses, but is not limited to, a Diversified Angle of Retraction.
Reverse Motion differs from an Angle of Retraction in that Reverse Motion must withdraw on the same course back to its Point of Origin.
An Angle of Retraction differs from an Angle of Departure in that an Angle of Departure refers to the entire body withdrawing from a situation, where an Angle of Retraction is limited to the withdrawal of a single weapon.
An Angle of Retraction typically follows an Angle of Execution and an Angle of Contact. |
