Meaningful Dialogue


An idiom referring to practicing maneuvers and methods using contact on the partner(s) which has impact, but not to the point of injury or damage.

 

Comments:

 

Generally speaking, an experienced practitioner should anticipate a Meaningful Dialogue with their partner(s).

 

Meaningful Dialogue is related to Spirit of the Technique and Spirit of the Attack in that they all refer to practice that begins to approximate a more realistic scenario, while still maintaining a high degree of control.
