Angle of Return

An idiom referring to the angle at which a strike, executed from a rear weapon, creates a body posture where it is practical, logical, and safe to retract the weapon back to its Point of Origin - if the practitioner so desires.

Comments:

 

The typical result of executing a rear weapon is for the body to be positioned for an Angle of Return.

Example(s):

 

A Reverse Punch executed to the opponent's body allows for the practitioner to return the weapon back to it's Point of Origin, creating an Angle of Return.
