Contour Guidance

An idiom describing the use of contouring to improve the position and/or aim of a weapon.

Contour Guidance is a specific form of contouring, where the accuracy of weapon delivery is enhanced by the use of (a) contour(s) in one's environment.

Contour Guidance can be used for both defensive as well as offensive purposes, but is more commonly used when referring to offensive maneuvers.
