Guided Angle of Delivery

An idiom referring to a distinct form of contouring where the use of the opponent's body is used to guide a strike.

Comments:

The easiest way to understand Guided Angle of Delivery is that it is basically contouring for strikes.

Guided Angle of Delivery is most commonly implemented by the guiding of your weapon(s0) to their target(s), but this is not a requirement (see examples).

Technically speaking, an Open Ended Triangle may be considered a Guided Angle of Delivery.

Example(s):

Tracking an extended arm of the opponent to their body with an outward back-knuckle demonstrates a Guided Angle of Delivery employing the concept of Object to Target.

Guiding the opponent's punch (with your opposite hand) into an elbow strike (e.g. upward, inward, etc.) demonstrates a Guided Angle of Delivery employing the concept of Target to Object.

Opposite(s):

Guided Collision
