Anatomical Positioning

An idiom describing the planned positioning of the opponent's posture and/or body so as to expose, or keep exposed, Vital Targets for future anticipated strikes

Comments:

 

The positioning of the opponent's body can be through manipulation, strikes, force, or coercion.

 

The synonyms are more specific than this term, but it is often used interchangeably with them.

 

One can drawn an analogy of playing billiards or chess with this term - where the controlled positioning of body and/or posture is used as one tactic for success.

Example(s):

 

Kicking the opponent in the groin, in anticipation of striking the spine when they bend over, would demonstrate anatomical positioning.
