Slap

To strike with the flat side of a weapon.

Comments:

 

Slapping can be executed with the use any weapon, either man-made or natural.

 

Slapping differs from poking in that slapping uses the flat side of a weapon and poking uses the tip of the weapon.

 

Slapping differs from slicing in that slapping relies upon contact to harm the target, where slicing mainly relies upon drawing of the edge (i.e. contouring) of a weapon to injure.
