One of the more minor stance foot orientations when dealing with a single opponent from the front (i.e. 12:00) - where you are in an unready position and the opponent is ready with their left foot forward. |

Natural to Left assumes a forward (12:00) point of reference, thus the uses of the term forward instead of Lead Weapon (aka Lead Foot). If other angles are to be considered (such as flanks and rear) then the term Lead Weapon would be more appropriate.
Natural to Left is most commonly used in reference to Self-Defense.
Natural to Left is most commonly used in Priorities of Self-Defense.
Natural to Left assumes you are in an unready position but the opponent is in a Ready Position.
Natural in this context means unready and typically would be analyzed from a Natural Stance, but this is not a requirement - other unready positions could also be considered. |
