Right to Right

One of the major stance foot orientations when dealing with a single opponent from the front (i.e. 12:00) - having your right foot forward with the opponent's right foot forward.

Comments:

Right to Right assumes a forward (12:00) point of reference, thus the uses of the term forward instead of Lead Weapon (aka Lead Foot). If other angles are to be considered (such as flanks and rear) then the term Lead Weapon would be more appropriate.

Right to Right is most commonly used in reference to Freestyle and Self-Defense.

Right to Right is most commonly used in Freestyle Considerations and Priorities of Self-Defense.

Right to Right assumes both participants are in a Ready Position. If this is not the case, then the Natural to Left, Natural to Right, and Natural to Natural terms would be included as possible scenarios.

Opposite(s):

Left to Left, Left to Right, Right to Left

Natural to Left, Natural to Natural, Natural to Right
