In general, consideration is thought reflected upon from any stimuli gathered from one's environment.
Consideration can be used toward any situation and/or individual(s), including one's self.
Consideration can be used to plan for the future, evaluate the present, or reflect upon the past.
Consideration can and should be used, as often as possible, when forming any sort of offensive and/or defensive strategy.
The specific forms of consideration dealing with combat are:
Specific to combat, consideration can be used:
Before combat to: a.prevent a conflict b.compose a strategy
During combat to: a.review the current situation b.continue with the current strategy c.alter the current strategy
After combat to: a.determine the overall success of the combat b.determine what actions could have been altered to improve the outcome of the combat
When working in a team, consideration: a.should be given to other members of the team b.should be given to the overall objective/plan
Situations where consideration cannot be used are: a.when one is taken by surprise b.when action is too fast to analyze c.when one is incapable of maintaining attention on the current situation - ie distracted, drugged, sleep deprived, mind overload, etc...
In situations where consideration cannot be used, spontaneous reaction takes over. This type of situation is where proper training, discipline, and one's character become the most important factors. See superconscious for more discussion on this subject. |
