This method of striking should almost always be done to two (2) different zones (see Dimensional Zone Theory) on the opponent.
Frequently, one (1) of the strikes is maintained as a positional check or positional cover.
Often this method is used to isolation or check-off specific Dimensional Zones on the opponent.
Almost always, Double Striking implies using Directional Harmony but this is not a requirement, and technically speaking can use Direct Opposites instead.
Although Double Strike and Twin Factor are often used interchangeably, technically speaking, Twin Factor is slightly less generic in that it refers to a Double Strike with matching (twin) strikes. |
