Balance Compensation

 

The continual adjustment of weight distribution based upon contact with the Environment and Environmental Objects.

 

Comments:

 

Balance Compensation is a normal occurrence with any situation.

 

Balance Compensation most typically occurs because of offensive and/or defensive contact made with the opponent.

 

Balance Compensation becomes extremely important when dealing with close range maneuvers - ie Contact Manipulation and Contact Penetration.
