Neutral Bow (Stance)

 

A specific type of Bow and Arrow stance which is physically distinguishable by a 50%-50% weight distribution, Toe-Heel Alignment of width, Heel-Knee Alignment of depth, knees bent comfortably as a general alignment of height, and the rotational alignment of the body and feet on a forward, 45 degree angle to the Point of Reference.

 

Comments:

 

This stance is considered to be American Kenpo's standard fighting stance.

 

Derivation:

 

This stance derives its name from the fact that it give the impression of being neutral in nature in both body and arm alignment.
