An idiom describing the angle on which you or your opponent's balance can be enforced or disrupted.

The most common way to think about an Angle of Balance is using the Zone Concept of Directional Movement, which identifies the eight (8) major angles of the Clock Principle.

It is advisable for the practitioner to understand the angles at which any stance is stronger and weaker.  This knowledge will help in offensive as well as defensive strategy.

Any stance has Angles of Balance. For instance, the horse stance has the greatest Angle of Balance toward the flanks and the least toward the front and rear.
