Basically, a Standard Extension is a sequence that can be applied to a Base Move through Position Recognition.
A Standard Extension can also be used to extend a Base Move through the use of Transitional Moves, if not in the proper position to immediately apply the Standard Extension.
Standard Extensions are commonly used in the context of Self-Defense Techniques.
Standard Extension differs from Self-Defense Technique Extension in that a Standard Extension can be applied to any number of Self-Defense Techniques at varying points in their execution. |
