Splice


An idiom describing the seamless prefixing, inserting, and/or suffixing of a part or whole of a Base Move to another Base Move.

Comments:

 

Splicing differs from Grafting in that splicing is not limited to a suffix, and is generally considered a more generic term.

 

Although technically different, splice and graft bare often used interchangeably.
