Base Move is a generic term and encompasses any maneuver(s) that are used together for a specific purpose.
Any Base Move falls into one of the following categories: Defensive - each maneuverin the sequence is a defensive maneuver Offensive - each maneuver in the sequence is an offensive maneuver Defensive / Offensive - the sequence begins with a defensive maneuver and then proceeds to offensive and defensive maneuvers Offensive / Defensive - the sequence begins with an offensive maneuver and then proceeds to defensive and offensive maneuvers Neither - a maneuver that is not intended to be used against an opponent.
