A Base Move constitutes the beginning point for an analytical study of motion.
Base Move is a generic term and encompasses any move(s) that are used together for a specific purpose.
Any Base Move falls into one of the following categories: Defensive - each move in the sequence is a defensivemove Offensive - each move in the sequence is an offensivemove Defensive/ Offensive - the sequence begins with a defensive move and then proceeds to offensive and defensive moves Offensive / Defensive - the sequence begins with an offensive move and then proceeds to defensive and offensive moves Neither - a move that is not intended to be used against an opponent.
The most common use of the term Base Move is as a Self-defense Technique.
Base Move differs from Contact Placement in that a Base Move is a series of planned moves containing multiple predetermined targets. |
