Short Form


An idiom referring to a type of American Kenpo form that starts an examination into a specific set of topics through the execution of basics in an organized and predetermined sequence.

 

Comments:

 

American Kenpo has three (3) types of forms:

Set

Long Form

Short Form

each with their own purpose and design within the system. Regardless, each of the form falls into the Basics Division of American Kenpo.

 

Short Forms are considered introductory forms in that they start an examination into a series of subjects but are designed to be followed by a Long Form which further expands upon the same subjects in more detail.
