American Kenpo has three (3) types of forms: Long Form each with their own purpose and design within the system. Regardless, each of the form falls into the American Kenpo.
The earlier Long Forms (1-3) expand upon the Short Forms by providing a more detailed examination of specific topics and concepts started in the Short Form.
The Long Forms of American Kenpo which expand upon a Short Form are:
The later Long Forms (4 and above) examine specific topics and concepts on their own - but can be converted into a Short Form by individual practitioners as an educational project.
