Continuous Weapons

An idiom describing a flow of maneuvers and/or methods that once initiated are employed in rapid succession for the purpose of overwhelming the opponent(s) with a sustained barrage that is designed to keep them off-balance and on the defense.

Comments:

Continuous Weapons commonly refers to offensive maneuvers and methods, but this is not a requirement.

Continuous Weapons is essentially the implementation of the principle of Continuity of Motion with multiple offensive / defensive maneuvers.

Continuous Weapons result from a Sequential Flow.

Implementation of Continuous Weapons typically results in Fluid Movement, but this is not a requirement.

Continuous Weapons can also be thought of as creating and maintaining leverage over the opponent(s) through multiple maneuver and/or methods (e.g. Get the Upper Hand).

Continuous Weapons is an effective means of maintaining the opponent(s) in a defensive posture, by keeping the opponent(s) continuously occupied with your attack - not allowing them time to recoup and retaliate.

Continuous Weapons can be implemented as a Base Move (totally predetermined), Contact Placement (partially predetermined), spontaneous (totally unplanned) .  What matters is that the series of offensive maneuvers create an efficient Sequential Flow.
