An angular move is commonly referred to as off angleor using an uncommon angle.

 

A move can be angular and not obscure, but an obscuremove is always angular.

Angular moves are an important factor when dealing with realistic combat situations. The practitioner should become proficient at formulating, detecting, reacting to, and executing moves for and from Angular Attacks.
