Angular

Any maneuver and/or method that is not directed toward one's Point of Reference and/or defenses.

Comments:

An angular maneuver is commonly referred to as off angle or using an uncommon angle.

A maneuver can be angular and not obscure, but an obscure maneuver is always angular.

Angular maneuvers tend to be more deceptive in nature and usually attempt to bypass one's typical Lines of Defense by not attacking directly at them.

Angular maneuvers are an important factor when dealing with realistic combat situations. The practitioner should become proficient at formulating, detecting, reacting to, and executing maneuvers for and from Angular Attacks.
