One way of analyzing something is to try to break the entity down into all its constituents. This helps the practitioner understand the composition of the entity, and thus helps to break the incomprehensible down into the comprehensible. Once complete, one can further break the constituent parts down into their constituents. This process continues until each constituent cannot be broken down any further. This is one major method used by Mr. Parker to understand and categorize motion and combat, which helped in the creating of the Kenpo system.

Speed and mass are major constituents of power.
