Simply put, a category is a complete group related items
A category is created to highlight and draw attention to the commonality of the individual items of the category - typically for the purpose of analysis or execution.
In Kenpo, it is a common practice to analyze and determine all the ways of doing something, and to group them together into a category, for further analysis. See Category Completion for more information on this subject. |
