A martial arts and wrestling idiom referring to a specialized maneuver designed to grab and vigorously propel an opponent into the air or into an Environmental Object (typically the ground or a wall) through the leveraging of your body and/or body parts against theirs.

Throw differs from Tackle in that throws do not require the entire body to be engaged in the maneuver, although they often do. Also, Tackles do not require and airborne element, although they often do.
