Outward Palm-Heel (Strike)

A distinct type of palm-heel strike which is physically distinguishable by striking in an outward direction - with fingers pointing upward and toward the outside of the body.

Comments:

This strike is most typically effected on a relatively horizontal line (palm-heel portion), which then (optionally) switches to a vertical line (the claw portion), after contact is made; but may be executed on an upward or downward slope, or a slightly arching path of travel. depending upon need.

This strike travels toward the flank of the body. This is most notable when in a training horse stance.

By definition, this strike either uses a Thrusting (or Snapping) Method of Execution - followed (optionally) by a Clawing Method of Execution after contact.

The word straight, in this case, means to follow a Line of Travel that is relatively perpendicular to the vertical (depth) center-line (and relatively parallel to the vertical (width) center-line).
