Training Horse (Stance)

 

A specific type of horse stance which is physically distinguishable by having the arms chambered at the sides with the attention and Point of Reference typically directed to the front or rear, but sometimes directed to the flanks - as needed.

 

Comments:

 

This stance is considered to the standard training stance when not practicing stances, foot maneuvers, kicks, other specialized basics that require a different stance.

 

The most common alternative training stance to the training horse is the neutral bow stance.

 

Derivation:

 

This stance derives its name from the fact that it is the standard training stance.
