Inward Horizontal Palm-Heel (Strike)

A distinct type of palm-heel strike which is physically distinguishable by striking in an inward direction - with fingers pointing forward and toward the front.

Comments:

This strike is most typically effected using an active (backward) bending of the wrist throughout the travel of its execution, to conclude with the contact of the strike. This is not mandatory, but is a suggested form of Body English. Because of this, this strike is often completed without the standard clawing conclusion.

This strike travels toward the inside of the body (e.g. across the vertical (width) center-line).

By definition, this strike either uses a Thrusting (or Snapping) Method of Execution.

The word inward, in this case, means to follow a Line of Travel that is relatively perpendicular to the vertical (width) center-line (and relatively parallel to the vertical (depth) center-line).
