Overhead Palm-Heel (Strike)

A distinct type of palm-heel strike which is physically distinguishable by striking in a forward arching direction - with fingers pointing upward.

Comments:

This strike is most typically effected on a circular line of travel (palm-heel portion), which then (optionally) continues, without change, into the (optional) clawing portion, after contact is made.

By definition, this strike either uses a Hammering (or Snapping) Method of Execution - followed by a Clawing Method of Execution after contact.

Due to the nature of this strike's application, the clawing portion is only excluded on the Snapping version - rarely on the Hammering version.

The word overhead, in this case, means to follow a Line of Travel that is arches along the top portion of the Outer Rim.

It can be said that this is the circular version of the straight palm-heel strike.
