A specific type of universal block which is physically distinguishable by the downward direction (in relation to the practitioner) of its movement in order to effect the block.

The simplest way to think about this maneuver is that it is essentially a double downward block.
By definition, downward universal blocks employ a hammering method of execution.
Note: This block is not part of the original curriculum, but it is a basic used with the self-defense techniques. |
