This analogy is illustrated as follows: a.Forms short 1 - long 2 are compared to a dictionary - because their emphasis is upon shorter and less complex "definitions" of motion. b.All forms above long 2 are compared to an encyclopedia - because their emphasis is on expounding in greater detail concepts, ideas, and motion. c.All sets are compared to an appendix - because their emphasis is on examining and expounding concepts, ideas, and motionswithin a limited or concentrated context.
The purpose of this analogy is to help the practitioner categorize the individual Kenpo forms and sets, thus starting the practitioner down the path to a better overall understanding of the forms and sets and the information contained therein. |
