The analogy method of teaching is employed by instructorsto convey information by associating that information to other more common information in the world.
The analogy method of teaching is sometimes employed to teach students of a specific profession by relating Kenpo specific information to information in that profession, thus allowing the student to relate unfamiliar information to familiar information.
There are many "standard" Kenpo analogies that are passed down from instructor to student.
This method of teaching lends itself to conveying concepts, theories, rules, and principles - just as easily as movement. |
