Bob

A specific form of a Body Maneuver that creates an Angle of Deviation by vertically raising or lowering of the body off of a Line of Execution.

Comments:

 

Bobbing is often used with weaving - this is due to the fact the weapons often travel on circular paths, which can require not only vertical motion, but horizontal motion as well; to effectively create an Angle of Deviation.

 

The most common way to execute a bob is ducking.

 

Bobbing is most often used as a defense.

 

Bobbing should be executed through the use of the legs, while keeping the body erect - not by bending.

 

Bobbing can also be used as a form of cocking with the entire body.

 

Bobbing is most often employed by boxers.
