Suggested Approaches

A process of learning through the expression potential available options for a given situation that adhere to the principles of American Kenpo.

Comments:

Suggested Approaches should not be confused with Self-Defense Technique. Where Self-Defense Technique is a given set of predetermined maneuvers and methods, Suggested Approaches explores options.

From the perspective of Self-Defense Technique, Suggested Approaches could be said to be a variation on or and expression of the What-if Phase and Formulation Phase.

Suggested Approaches use logic, reasoning, and principles (such as Economy of Motion, Variable Expansion, and Formulation Equation) to arrive at options.

Suggested Approaches differs from Standard Extension in that a Standard Extension can be one (1) Suggested Approach available as an option.
