Generally speaking, a Orbital Deviation is considered a change of travel from forty-five degrees (45º) to less than ninety degrees (90º).
Orbital Deviation is the companion term to Orbital Adjustment and Orbital Switch, where Orbital Deviation refers to a change of travel that is greater than a Orbital Adjustment but less than a Orbital Switch.
Orbital Deviation is specific in nature and can refer only to a change in circular motion. See circle and line for more information on this subject.
Orbital Deviation differs from Orbital Change in that Orbital Change is slightly more generic in nature, but can be used interchangeably with Orbital Deviation.
See Formulation Equation for more information on this general subject. |
