One-Leg (Stance)

 

A specific type of Specialized Stance which is physically distinguishable by a 0%-100% weight distribution, no specific width, no specific depth, the rear knee bent comfortably as a general alignment of height, and the rotational alignment of the body and the rear foot generally on a forward, 45 degree angle to the Point of Origin, and the front foot touching or almost touching the opposite knee at the ball of the foot.

This stance is considered to be transitory in nature.

 

This stance has a variety of variations, with the front foot being in any number of positions.

 

Derivation:

 

This stance derives its name from the physical fact that all the weight is on one foot and the opposite foot typically does not rest on the ground.
