Sparring specific slang for a competitor who immediately rushes into the fight during freestyle competition. |

This method of sparring can be seen during tournament competition as well as normal sparring situations.
A Charger generally does not like fighting a Counter Man, because a Charger plays into the Counter Man's strategy.
A Charger generally does not like fighting a Runner, because the Runner will usually try to keep a large distance from a Charger.
A Charger will usually be taken advantage of by an Actor.
This method of sparring is usually done: a.to try and get the advantage in the match by catching an opponent off guard b.because the competitor is inexperienced and it is their natural reaction c.as a strategy to try and end the sparring match as quickly as possible d.as a strategy to try and get the opponent to step out of the ring to lose points or get disqualified |
