A Runner generally does not like fighting a Charger, because a Charger has a tendency to try and "run down" a Runner.

b.out of fear of the other opponent

c.out of inexperience

d.to try and waste time

Derivation:

The term is taken from the fact that the competitor appears to run from any advances by the opponent.
